Cabarete symplosium

Cabareté Symplosium is a play within a play: a variety show (varieté) comprising a series of theatre segments and songs is set within the framework of a competition for “the song of the evening”. Here Roza, by means of quick and effective alterations, transforms himself into a large number of characters, each one completely different. As the “jury of experts decides on the winner”, the audience can watch a few other “unfortunately entirely unknown specialities from the Slovene cultural past”.

Because it is composed of individual segments, the play can be longer or shorter, depending on the wishes of the commissioner, and it is also possible to add a special segment that relates to the thematic context in which it is presented.
